Tachibana runs into Mr. Kondo at the library, and asks if he can recommend any books, but Mr. Kondo explains she should try to find a book she’s interested in instead. Kondo and Tachibana discover a bookmark with the silhouette of a swallow in a book she’d gotten at the book fair. It was serialized in Shogakukan's Monthly Big Comic Spirits magazine from June 2014 to November 2015, and later in Weekly Big Comic Spirits from January 2016 to March 2018. . Haruka deduces Tachibana’s feelings, but Tachibana refuses to talk about it. After the Rain is written and illustrated by Jun Mayuzuki.
